Spring Break
Hi
Our spring break vacation was a major bust. Riley got sick on Friday but they thought it was just the fire drill at school. Taylor got sick with the flu on Sunday but was staying home and felt well enough for the rest of us to go to the coast. Jayden got sick (thank goodness for the sweatshirt she was holding) 20 minutes from the coast so we kept going. It hit me about 5 hours later. Imagine Jayden and I wiped out for 48 hours and a condo where Rowan and Riley had the run of the place. They were in heaven. Cereal for two meals a day. Cookies. Chips. Life was good. They got into the game closet of the condo and mixed 6 puzzles up completely. They flooded a bathroom. Hey, there were entertained and Jayden and I couldn't move off the couch. It actually took about 5 days to get past and we didn't really eat again until this weekend.
Back to work on Monday just to get a little rest!

Your daughters are lovely! I found your blog through Guatadopt and what caught my attention was your comment on adopting older kids. You are a wonderful example of how great it can be. Having said that, you must be an amazing mom with admirable energy. I am very happy to know that fellow Chapinas have found such a loving home.
